Anyways, I have a thing for little sisters. The title has the word "imouto" in it. Of course I would be interested.
The premise is interesting; unlike other anime with little sisters, the show revolves around Kyousuke, the main character, and his estranged relationship with his little sister, Kirino.
See, apparently Kirino is some bigshot middle schooler who's extremely athletic, popular with the town and her school, and even works as a model for a big time magazine.
Due to this, Kyousuke feels distant from his little sister. Kirino doesn't even seem to take any notice of him most of the time.

So, one day Kirino decides to head out, and bumps into Kyousuke by accident.
After Kirino picks up her stuff and leaves, Kyousuke notices something on the ground, which happens to be a DVD cover for a magical girl anime. He opens it up and finds this:
Kyousuke suspects that it's Kirino's at first, but dismisses it.
It turns out that it actually does belong to Kirino. She was caught red-handed searching for it in Kyousuke's room.

And so, the rest of the episode involves Kirino revealing her hobby to Kyousuke.
The show is very well animated. The animation flows smoothly from scene to scene, and the facial expressions are very expressive. The humor is great, especially with Kyousuke's sarcastic remarks. The interaction between Kirino and Kyousuke is very well done, acting like how normal siblings would, in any case. The pacing is great so far too, and the voice acting is top notch. In case you were wondering, Kyousuke is voiced by Nakamura Yuuichi (who voiced Tomoya Okazaki in Clannad) and Kirino is voiced by Taketatsu Ayana (who voiced Azu-nyan in K-ON).
Not to mention, seeing Kirino own two copies of School Days and Cross Days was hilarious.
Having read the manga, I'm very impressed at how they handled the first episode. Another definite keeper for this season.
Keep posted, Star Driver impressions coming up later.
