Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai Episode 2 Impressions

So here comes the second episode of the so-far highly acclaimed anime.

As I watched, I still couldn't help but be amazed at the high production values. The OP was really, really well done.

And so, with the second episode comes some new characters.

Obligatory twin tailed loli

Obligatory gothic ojousama loli

Obligatory extreme otaku

Good cast of characters so far. Kirino and Kuroneko (the gothic loli) seems to have developed a (friendly?) rivalry as the episode progressed.

Animation throughout the episode remained amazing, and the humor is quite well done too. The interaction between the characters are fun to watch, with Kirino's rivalry with Kuroneko being humorous overall, and Kyousuke's sarcastic manner towards Kirino amusing to watch.

The latter half of the episode consisted of Kirino visiting Akihabara for the first time. Seeing as it was her first time there, she was very ecstatic about the trip, and even came upon a few things.

Anyone into BL?

They even threw in a Code Geass reference, of all things.

Nothing to pick at so far. I haven't really noticed any glaring faults with the pacing, humor or animation.

Nothing felt too rushed; nothing felt too slow. It's been following the manga closely so far, something that's quite rare in anime adaptations. Hopefully this keeps up.
